I am selling my art to protect journalists.

Inspired by Meryl Streep's speech at the Golden Globes this year, I wish to channel my hopes for the future of our democracy and for democracy across the planet into and through my art. I have committed to offer a work for sale, the proceeds of which will be given to the Committee to Protect Journalists.

Since then assaults by our president on a free press, and his support for the murderers of Jamal Ahmad Kashoggi have made this a more pressing cause.

Make no mistake, this is not a symbolic cause. People who would bring us their truth are being killed by the powerful. This is one way I as an artist can resist.

All art as credited.
